Our story takes place in a world of fantasy. Where magic is commonplace, various beasts and monsters roam the wilds, every fantasy race possible lives here in some form, and there exists a stat and class system inherent in every living thing. Zooming in closer, we start the story inside a cave found in a forest on the continent of Arborea, where our protagonist, Lestral Mire, is sleeping.     The Weapon Rangers are working at their personal hobbies as usual. Arsenal is fixing a gun for somebody, Blade is reforging somebody's sword, Artillery is tinkering on a vehicle, Shadow is counseling somebody, Warp is putting others through fitness training, Nature is fixing up pets, Fate is helping at the hospital, Echo is performing for a crowd, Techno is fixing a computer, and Emo is giving support to a grieving person. Business as usual, when suddenly, yet another Serg (Insectoid Cyborg) General with an army of Serg, as well as a Zenix (Giant Armored Dragonoid), are launched to Earth somewhere.     You stand in front of the portal on the outskirts of town, ready to go in. Everybody else in town, as well as the military personnel sent to investigate it 3 years ago, were too afraid to risk their lives for a possibly meaningless endeavor.     Our tale starts in the Ponyville Hospital, with the Mane 6 in the waiting room. Cosmic is there as well. "Why do I have to be here? What's the point of it?" Cosmic asked. Because your character contract says you have to be inserted in every story in some way as soon as possible.     We start up this retelling at Sweet Apple Acres in the night. We go to Applejack in bed, when the sound of pots and pans being banged together are heard.
